My pictures today are my new fabric.
I had my doctors appointment this morning and I figured since the fabric store was right down the road from there …… I would treat myself to some new fabric.
The first stack of fabric is Wrens & Friends by Gina Martin for Moda Fabrics (I bought one yard each of 5 designs).
The next stack of fabric is a mixture. When I walked in Quilters Haven someone had left the bird pattern fabric on top of the other fabric …. it caught my eye instantly and I got one yard of each. The larger bird fabric is Natures Poetry Robert Kaufman and the rest of the prints are Basic Grey by Persimmon for Moda Fabrics
The last stack is some fabric I’ve purchased before and I was happy to get my hands on some more. If there’s one thing I can teach you …… it’s buy the fabric when you see it … other wise it will be gone!! All but the yellow print is Fancy Free by Lori Whitlock for Moda Fabrics. The yellow print is by Blank Quilting Pattern BTR-6957. I bought three yards of all five patterns.
I’ve already made one small quilt with this fabric …. you will see it soon and it’s so pretty I wanted to make more.
Now for the personal personal stuff …. I had my doctors appointment this morning and let me just say I really like my doctor and I’m so very thankful that she listens … and she ask questions. I never told her what the other doctor said or what any of my friends said … I laid it all out …. she checked me over and she came up with the same three things …. but she also mentioned a few more but ….. she said we’ll look at those after the results.
The threes things are:
- Rheumatoid Arthritis
If I had a rash she would say for sure it’s that … but as far as I know there isn’t a rash. She said she really thinks it could be Rheumatoid Arthritis and if it is she’ll send me to a specialist. She ordered a bunch of blood work and said next week we’ll get the results and then we’ll talk.
So, we’re back in the waiting game …but at least now there’s hope.
Between the shower, drying my hair, doctors appointment and the fabric store I am utterly exhausted!! In fact I’m so tired I can not move.
