I’m taking a break from quilting to focus on Christmas and this picture is from last night when Brooke and I were making Peppermint Bath Salts for our friends.
She’s exchanging gifts with her friends tonight and we decided that the Peppermint Bath Salts would be something cute to add to their bag of goodies.
I’m working on a label as soon as I’m wrap up this post. I hope I can come up with something cute!
Here’s the Recipe:
- 1 Cup Epson Salt
- 1/2 Cup Sea Salt
- 1 Tablespoon Baking Soda
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 10 Drops of doTerra Peppermint Oil
- Red Food Coloring
Click here if you’d like to watch a video on making the Peppermint Bath Salts.
Warning:
- The Bath Salts smell LOVELY … but …. when you add it to your bath water it kinda sorta looks like a scene from CSI. The water is red …but it will not stain or harm anything because it’s just Food Coloring.
- Rinse out bath tub afterwards …. the oil will make your tub slippery.
See ya!
p.s. When I wrap up the label or packaging I’ll be making this one of my 12 days of Christmas projects (I need four more projects as of today and if I can get this one wrapped up I’ll only need three more).
