Raw Edges Square Quilt –  Quilt Along  Video 2

  • Open Layer Cake and place the Squares on your Design Wall (you can use the floor or a bed).
  • Place Charm squares on the Layer Cake Squares.
  • Label each row.  You will  have 6 blocks across and 7 blocks down.
  • Use Glue Stick and add Charm Square to the middle of the Layer Cake Square.  You can use the Five & Dime Ruler by Kansas Troubles Quilters.
  • Sew a 1/4 seam on every charm square.

Please tell us about your design wall. Also, have you had the chance to play with your mid-arm? I’m interested in your thoughts on it!!! You are such an inspiration!

hi Rosa, my Quilt Wall is just a large piece of Batting … hanging from a Curtain Rod. I purchased both items at Walmart and it cost around $20 🙂
I’ve not had a chance to use my Simply Sixteen … hopefully next week I’ll get to try it out with my sister (she’s coming for a visit).
