My Picture of the Day #24 is of my breakfast …
It’s a hard boiled egg and a piece of Jimmy Dean Turkey Sausage.
I’m not real sure I should be posting this picture, it didn’t taste too bad!
Today was day 2 of my diet and it started out okay …..but mid day it went south.
My head hurts like I may die and it’s been that way since before noon. Not to worry I’m a bit dramatic and I have ZERO pain tolerance. My sister and I googled it and I guess I’m in that Ketosis phase of the diet … I pray I wake up feeling normal tomorrow! Here I thought the hunger was going to get me … it’s nothing compared to my head!!
Before I sign off tonight I want to share a couple pictures … I went back through my iPhone … as best I could trying to find any pictures of Ventura. Who knows who was pitching on most of the pictures I took, so I’m sharing two pictures from the World Series Parade in 2015 … both pictures aren’t very good. But they are of him (may he rest in peace).
I wish I could have gotten a better picture!! Even I had to zoom in on my iPhone to make sure it was him and the #30.

Here’s comes another story … My picture of the Day #23 is of my Bamboo Pillow.
Back in November I took some friends to the Holiday Boutique in Overland Park, KS. And, when we were walking in …. we kept passing women carrying these crazy bags … I thought they were bedding ….turns out it was pillows.
I had every intention of finding the booth as soon as we got there … just to find out what it was, but the minute I saw the Olathe Glass section… I lost all train of thought!!!
Fast forward several hours later … we discovered them on the last row of booths and I snatched them up (I have major neck and shoulder pain).
So, long story short … I LOVE this pillow and it’s the only one my head sleeps on at night. Dave has one, Brooke has one, Chase has one and we bought Jessica one for Christmas 🙂 It does just what they said … it forms to your head and shoulders. I expect I may end up traveling with it.
Now after typing all that … are you cracking up? I am!!! Today was day one of my diet … not too bad considering all I’ve had is meat, eggs, beef broth and a couple dill pickles. I’ll share what I’m doing at some point … but not until I have some success.

There’s a lot to be said about him … but, personally I just want to say thanks for the memories!!

p.s. It was a gloomy, rainy day here in Kansas … I organized my completed quilts (will show you soon) and took a nap 🙂
