My Picture of the Day #52 is a few days late…. but it’s so worth the wait!!!

Meet Brooke’s baby bird… Elvis!

Isn’t he the cutest little thing!!

She keeps reminding me it’s her bird … but when she leaves for work …he becomes mine 🙂

He’s just a baby so we have several weeks before he arrives.  The wait is going to be painful!

Changing the subject …. at some point I’ll post double pictures to get caught up on the days I missed this week when I was sick.  It’s crazy at how fast that came up ….one minute I was putting my shoes on to go for a walk and then I was in PAIN …. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, thank God for Zofran!!! Otherwise I would have gone straight to ER (remember I’m the one with zero pain tolerance)!!   I know TMI!!

If you look to the left of this picture you’ll see my Log Cabin Quilt ….on my Quilt Wall.

I’d like to say more …. but I’ve been in bed since this afternoon with a major tummy ache.   I just hope it was something I ate and not a bug!

My picture of the Day #50 is the view out our window this morning.

I had no idea when I took this picture it would be my Picture of the Day.

Dave’s in Tennessee fishing and he called this morning and said it was real foggy …. and I replied “it is here too”.  So, I snapped a pic so that he would know I wasn’t pulling his leg.

Picture of the Day #49 is of a Cockatiel … which is the type of bird that Brooke wants for her birthday.

I borrowed this picture from google images … I hope it’s okay!!

There’s lot of varieties of Cockatiels …. but this is the one Brooke wants …. a one with rosy cheeks.

I know it’s supposed to be for her but I’m so excited I can’t stand it.  And, I’ve spent way too many hours researching everything about them.

We want a male.  We want it to talk … once you have a bird that talks, you always want a talking bird (our beloved Chirpy was our first bird/parakeet and he talked up a storm).

Gotta go, I’m exhausted… Sandra came over today and we made all the Bella’s Treats and Skittles Surprises for Bella’s Bundle #2.    I’m going to sleep well tonight!!
