My Picture of the Day #12 is… Stampin’ Up! boxes … that equal lots of fun … and work over the next few days!!

Other news … I keep hoping and praying the freezing rain / ice doesn’t hit Kansas City!!!!

I haven’t gone to the grocery store yet … I’m still thinking it will miss us!!!  If not, our pantry has lots of food and we have a gas fireplace and some heater in the garage (I think it’s gas too).

Gotta run … good night!

p.s. OMG … they just canceled our public schools for tomorrow … grrrrrrr

She LOVES going to the groomers, but when she comes home she’s tuckered out!

So much so that even holding her head up is taxing 🙂

This picture of the day…. is showing you guys just how crazy/silly I can be sometimes (I try to keep that under wraps)!

So, I’ve warned ya!

My Picture of the Day #10 is of E9 aka baby eagle and it’s mom or dad sleeping (thank God they are sleeping and doing well!!).

Our computer in the breakfast room has E9 front and center from the time I wake up until I go upstairs for bed.  So, anytime we walk in the kitchen, we see it/them!

Speaking of E9… do I really have to call it that forever … it needs a name!!!

Now, back to the picture, that little baby eats so much it goes in a little sleep coma and I freak out and think it’s dead.  On more than one occasion I’ve freaked out and twice I’ve cried. What can I say?  I’m invested.   If you’re wondering, I love my kids the same way.  I can’t tell you how many times I’ve feared they had stopped breathing … Brooke actually did when she had a seizure at 9 months old, so I say I’m damaged.

That’s all I have for ya tonight … I was on the phone all day with my downline (Chics Paper Ink) and it was a really good day (lots of plans were made) and I’m headed back to my office to give my team website a new facelift (I’m excited!!)

My Picture of the Day #9 is of my Stampin’ Up! box that was supposed to be delivered Friday by 10:30 (via UPS).

This is a funny story but it may come off as a little snarky … or I should say ” I see the humor in it now but not at the time!

I ordered some Stampin’ Up! card stock overnight (and a few other things like ribbon) … and it was supposed to be at my house by 10:30am.   By 6:30pm the entire house was sick of me saying “where is UPS?” plus I had a live stream at 7pm.  I was not happy to say the least!!!

At 6:45pm I hear the truck that I had been listening for all day … but guess what … he drives right past my house.  Holy cow I almost had a cow!  It was 8 degrees outside and I went running out (no jacket or sweater) like a crazy person! He had stopped four houses up to deliver a package.  And… I like a crazy person kept yelling “hello,  Hello,  Mr UPS,  hello .. hey you, hello!  Finally he heard me … as well as probably all our neighbors.  I yelled that I was expecting a package (four houses up) and he heard me and said let me look.  Lo and behold my box was on there. hmmmmm   I was nice to him…  believe it or not .. but I really wanted to stomp my feet and have a tantrum.   When I share this story with my  daddy … either he or I will say “this happens to us to give us something to talk about” as if we need anything to talk about!!

The picture below is blurry … sorry!!  But this is where I stood as I was yelling nicely to the UPS driver….I guess we could say it’s a good thing I grew up on a 50 acre farm 🙂  By the way I didn’t walk up there because our street was all ice, I would have fallen for sure!

The picture does show the distance and doesn’t it look really cold out??

Fast forward by three days… you do not want to hear that the paper was cut incorrectly…. I’m not even going there!!!

I’m not sure this is what I envisioned when I started the Picture of the Day … but hopefully you find it entertaining or helpful!
