Jelly Roll Quilt Video

To make the Jelly Roll Quilt you need:

  • One Jelly Roll (40 strips of fabric that measure 2.5 x 44)
  • Matching Thread (you need two full bobbins)
  • Scissors
  • Sewing Machine

The Jelly Roll Quilts measure approximately 54 x 64.

To finish the quilt:

  • Buy the backing fabric and binding fabric
  • Take to longarm quilter

The fabric I used was Miss Kate by Moda Fabric.

I purchase my fabric online at two places … and locally at two places.

  • Fat Quarter Shop
  • Missouri Quilt Company
  • Prairie Point Quilt Shop
  • Quilters Haven

I’ll share a picture once I get it from the longarm quilter.

I am working on a video of all the supplies you need to get started with quilting (later this week).

See ya!

p.s. My assistant is working on an instruction sheet for the quilt … I’ll update this post when it’s ready.

Long Arm Quilter

December 9, 2014 by Angie 1 Comment

Good news …. I found Shirley’s phone number (Long Arm Quilter) and I’m taking Brooke’s quilt to her next Wednesday.  It’s not ready yet ….but it will be by next Wednesday.

So, a few of you lurkers have expressed some interest …..   I love it!

I never finished the Flower Quilt Video (part two) … but …..  the Squares and Diamonds Quilt is the same ….. just smaller.

Heres’ the Squares and Diamonds Quilt Video…..

Here’s part one of the Flower Quilt (part two was never made) but all  you do is add more blocks to make it larger.

Another video showing the Flower Quilt (also called 80 block Quilt)

See ya!

p.s. My energy level is at an all time low …. I was just fine until noon … then I bottomed out.   So ….   I ordered myself a Therapy Light (if you  have thyroid issues it has been recommended).  I’ll let you know if it makes a difference.  At this point I’m ready to try anything to get my energy level back!!
