My Picture of the Day #16 is of Miss Bella’s darling face.

She LOVES when it’s time for bed and she usually hangs out on the stairs waiting patiently!  The closer it gets to bed time the more excited she gets … in fact if I just walk past the stairs… she runs … thinking it’s time.  Bless her heart!! I have to say at least once or twice a night that it’s not time yet.

While we’re on the subject of Miss Bella … here’s some a little story that Dave refuses to believe.  When I tell Miss Bella “I’ll be right back” she won’t follow me … otherwise she follows me wherever I go …  But if I say “I’ll be right back” she knows I’m just running to get something and I’ll be right back (and I never lie to her).

I’m happy to report that E9‘s Live camera feed is up  …. but what do I see?  It’s sleeping next to the tree … which is only inches from the edge.  E9, get back under your momma or daddy (actually I’m pretty sure it’s too big to go there).

p.s. This picture of a day is not easy … are y’all sick of my rambling?  I knew it wasn’t going to be easy, but it’s winter in Kansas, the sun has been hiding and I hardly leave the house… what exactly did I think I was going to photograph everyday?

My picture of the Day #15 is of my Christmas Bricks Quilt.

I made it using 9 Fat Quarters and a White Jelly Roll.

It only took 2 months to make and it could have been made in two days … I’m just happy it’s complete!

I finished it at the lake house (at night) … snapped a few pictures and the next morning we packed up and came home.

I had every intention of taking better pictures when I got home … I’m mortified to say it’s still packed in my fabric suitcase!!

I think I’ve not touched it because I fear it may suck me in and I’ll start sewing (I can’t lose focus right now … I have a goal to reach by April 30th).

E9 news

I have been sick with worry about the little eagle, E9 … on Saturday at 5am … the live feed went down.   My new source at the moment is this Forum.  I will admit I have been terrified something happened… But, they say it’s just the internet.  I’ve clearly watched too many hours and when this baby leaves the nest, I’m done … it’s too emotional for me!!  Last week I feared it was going to fall from the nest and every time the mom or dad leaves I fear it will get hurt and not return.

My picture of the day #14 is Bella’s Bundles  … or I should say the assembly line of Bella’s Bundles!

I usually post all things papercrafting over on Chic n Scratch … but I’m sharing over here today.

Each box is filled with some awesomeness and I can’t wait for everyone to open their box!!

Laura and I packed all of them today and I can’t tell you how many times we both said “this is so cute”!  I really wish I could see some of them open their box!!!

I showed Brooke when she got home and she said “she loved how much I loved it”.

It’s 7pm … I’m going to take a bath and then bed!

My Picture of the Day #13 is of the bread aisle at Walmart … on Friday 13th, in Olathe Kansas!

I knew it was going to be this way considering I didn’t get there until 8:45pm….  but it was still shocking to see!

Yes, that is my cart in the picture … if you look real closely you will see a scarf, gloves and some coffee mate creamer and some soup… priorities!!!  (The extra gloves are for Brooke’s car …. just in case she has to go to work tomorrow.

Not to worry …I managed to get a loaf of Sour Dough bread and that will hold us until it warms up on Monday!!

The freezing rain or ice has officially started.  It spit a little this morning … and then it quit.

When I went into Walmart, nothing was happening … when I came out … the freezing rain had started.

I’m exhausted beyond words …. headed to bed.
