The sun came out for a few short minutes today and I snapped this picture really fast!
Tomorrow it’s headed to the long arm quilter and the next time you see it …it will be finished.
I can’t wait to see the finished product!!
Now for some more personal stuff …..
I seriously do not feel good! Even holding my cell phone to my ear hurts my arms and my hands.
More tests on Thursday so hopefully an end to pain and exhaustion is near!
Several people have said diet and excersise will make me feel better. So I’ve gone on weight watchers and I’m walking on my treadmill … every day. So far it hasn’t helped …but it hasn’t hurt either.
Yesterday I said all day that there was no way I could go to Leadership in January …today I gave myself a mental slap … I will feel better in January! (Must remind myself to keep sayin it and believing it!)
See ya later!
P.S. Snow is in our forecast …I hope they are wrong!
Linda says
1) hope you get a diagnosis ASAP so a “fix” will begin ASAP.. Not fair to feel
Like that day in and day out.
2) It took me years to learn that in order for me to feel well, I must
Be on a treadmill for 30 minutes, at least 4 days a week. Sometimes I do 5.
I have a treadmill, but I just joined Planet Fitness. I go, I do not talk to anyone (just Good Morning) Do I ENJOY it. ?ABSOLUTELY NOT. But it keeps me feeling well.
3) Very Very CLEAN eating is a must for me. Handful of walnuts everyday, oatmeal,KIXX cereal, almond milk, egg whites only, peanut butter, chicken, fish at least 2 times a week, wheat bread occasionally, fruits and veggies constantly, turkey burgers, fresh mozzarella cheese.
I would eat red meat if I liked it, But I’ve never like red meat.
4) I started out at weight watchers and then did my own thing. I LOST 80 pounds. Did I feel better after losing 80 pounds? Not much……It is The exercise and very CLEAN eating both that Is what keeps me feeling better.
5) MY QUILT- I have punched out all the flowers with the flower die. I went to the fabric store and got the material for the blocks. Tomorrow I plan to cut out
The blocks. I am making a crib quilt for my daughters best friend who is having a baby in February. I met with the long arm person. She knows exactly what I want. She is very helpful too.
I am very excited.
Already I am planning my next quilt. It is going to be scalloped squures and diamonds like yours.
Thanks Angie. Keep me in the loop as to how you’re feeling. Your in my prayers for sure.
Sincerely,
Linda walker
