Miss Kate Flannels Rag Quilt

April 5, 2015 by Angie 5 Comments

Miss-Kate-Flannel-Rag-Quilt-pic

This is what I’ve been working on this week … a Rag Quilt using the Miss Kate Flannels.

I’m giving this quilt away to one lucky person over on my Chic n Scratch website.   It’s going to be an ordering incentive for the month of April and everyone that orders will get one ticket per $25. (Laura and I will take turns writing the names each day.)

I will work on getting a better picture …. it was cloudy today!

Personal stuff …. the last I spoke I think I mentioned a cat scan …. no results yet …but …. it took them five sticks to find a vain…. they finally used my wrist.  You do not want to see my arms ….. five pokes from them … one from blood work on Monday and another from blood work Friday before and ….. I slipped with the scissors and cut myself … as you can imagine … it’s a scary sight!

I hope you  had a Happy Easter!  We had our niece and nephew in from Indiana … we had an awesome visit with them  … but I’m totally exhausted!!

See ya!

p.s. Isabelle picked out her fabric this weekend …. so I’m going to start working on her Jelly Roll Quilt … I’ll start showing pictures soon!

That quilt is wonderful. That fabric is a great match for the rag quilt. I am itching to make a “rag” something. Do you use the die for your Accuquilt “Go” machine or do you do the scissor thing with all the squares? I, too, have veins that don’t want to cooperate. By the time they find a vein, I am in tears — all that poking hurts! I tell them when I leave that I deserve a balloon like the little kids get.

I am so sorry you had to go thru all that poking to find your vein. You remain in my prayers each day. This is a very pretty quilt. Lucky the person that gets to enjoy this awesome creation. Take care.

I hope you get some results from your tests that will help your Dr.
diagnose & treat your condition properly. Your quilt is gorgeous!
