My pictures today are my new fabric.
I had my doctors appointment this morning and I figured since the fabric store was right down the road from there …… I would treat myself to some new fabric.
The first stack of fabric is Wrens & Friends by Gina Martin for Moda Fabrics (I bought one yard each of 5 designs).
The next stack of fabric is a mixture. When I walked in Quilters Haven someone had left the bird pattern fabric on top of the other fabric …. it caught my eye instantly and I got one yard of each. The larger bird fabric is Natures Poetry Robert Kaufman and the rest of the prints are Basic Grey by Persimmon for Moda Fabrics
The last stack is some fabric I’ve purchased before and I was happy to get my hands on some more. If there’s one thing I can teach you …… it’s buy the fabric when you see it … other wise it will be gone!! All but the yellow print is Fancy Free by Lori Whitlock for Moda Fabrics. The yellow print is by Blank Quilting Pattern BTR-6957. I bought three yards of all five patterns.
I’ve already made one small quilt with this fabric …. you will see it soon and it’s so pretty I wanted to make more.

Hi Angie-I am so sorry that you are going through these health issues. Pain can be so stressful and debilitating. If you don’t mind, I would like to interject a little information from personal experience–I am an RN and I worked for an excellent Rheumatologist for 4 yrs. (You didn’t mention if the doctor you are seeing is your primary care or a specialist.) Even if your lab work does not show that you have these diseases it would be well worth the extra time and money to see one. You can still have rheumatoid arthritis and all of the labs may turn out negative. I saw this scenario in many patients he cared for. It’s called seronegative rheumatoid arthritis. A rheumatologist is well trained to diagnose and treat autoimmune diseases. There are so may new treatments for all of these illness. My heart goes out to you and I hope and pray you find an excellent physician who can get as quick of a diagnosis as possible so you can get help and some relief. Hugs, Janet
