I LOVE the Raskog cart from Ikea!!!
So much so that I have three of them … the one you see here is my Quilting Cart. I love it because I can roll it around the entire main floor of my house!
I occasionally have all my quilting stuff ….. on every surface (especially when Dave goes fishing)!!
I cut fabric on the breakfast room table. See picture below … I have a Megamat that I place on top (next time I get it out I’ll share a picture).
I iron on the island (perfect height!!!).
I sew on the dining room table …. see picture below ….
Back to the carts …. the other two are in my office. One holds all the supplies for when I film papercrafting videos. The other one holds all my Project Life supplies.
If you look closely at the quilting cart … you’ll see the Antonius Basket Insert …. also found at Ikea.
Now for the personal stuff … my health…..
My doctor is referring me to a Rheumatologist …. which means we are getting closer to finding the source of pain. After I talked to the nurse I called daddy to tell him the news and we both had a light bulb moment (or I did). When I was a child I was diagnosed with Rheumatism … my legs hurt something awful and when it rained they hurt even worse. The only treatment I remember was eating a lot of bananas. Fast forward to adulthood … legs still ached when it rained … but it was manageable … especially when I no longer lived and worked on a farm. Here’s the real kicker … when we moved to Kansas …. my knee never hurt again …but my wrists did …so much so that I wore a copper bracelet for years. It worked … the pain went away …so I stopped wearing it. How in the world did I forget that?
A new copper bracelet is on it’s way to my house … thanks to Amazon 🙂 It may help … it may not … but it sure can’t hurt!
The next step is …. I’m waiting to get approval from my insurance company to see a specialist (hopefully early next week).
For those of you reading my blog that have chronic pain …. I think of all of you every day and I hope you find relief one day!!!
Have a good night!!

Praying for you Angie – hope the doctors can find the main cause. I went something similar last year – test after test…put me on Savilia – worse side affects imaginable. I said I’d live with the pain then be on these meds. I go through spurts of pain and not much I can do – but if there is a magic pill out there, please let me know. Take care!

Thanks for the health update! I think Shelly has Rheumatoid Arthritis. If you are diagnosed with that maybe you can let her know and get some of her advice too. Hope it’s resolved soon!

Angie thank you so much for letting us know how things went with the doctors. I have continued to pray for you because I know what you are going thru. I was in pain also and did not know what was happening–but my story is too long. After lots of prayers and finally found a doctor that believed I was so sick and lots of test-it was Lupus. I will continue to pray for you and keep you close to my thoughts and my heart-you are an amazing young lady and like I have said before so giving-caring and loving and such a beautiful woman. You will be blessed. You know Angie I even prayed that all those Negative Nellies would just go away or take a turn and soften those bitter hearts. You are not alone . Take care and thank you so much for all you do.

Keeping you in my prayers each day and hoping you will find the answers you need. I guess there will always be those people who have a negative outlook but thankfully, most of us are more positive. You are quite an inspiration to many of us and I am always amazed at how much you do and give of yourself. So, thank you very much.
