It’s Sunday and I’m going to call it my story day (at least for today).
So, my normal routine of the day is I wake up, feed Miss Bella and grab a cup of coffee as soon as I can make my way over to the coffee pot.
Next up depends on how I feel … if I’m dog tired I’ll sit down and watch some TV on my Kindle Fire (I’m currently on Season 7 of NCIS) … if I feel slightly okay I’ll check out Facebook and if I feel good I’ll go straight to checking email (because of the volume of email I get … I have to be prepared to do battle … I’m just joking ….. but it can be stressful to watch the count go from 3 thousand to 4 thousand in a 24 hour period).
This morning I woke up feeling slightly okay … so I went to Facebook … and this is where I fell down the rabbit hole!
So, here it goes … I discovered the video you’ll see below … then listened to it about 4 times before I reposted it on my Facebook Wall. Then I spent the next two hours … researching the band (Facebook, website, google) … then the artist that appeared in one of their videos (googled that person) … and then to the Walk the Line movie version of Ring of Fire.
That’s what I mean by “I fell down the Rabbit Hole”! I have a million things to do and I get obsessed on a song.
Oh well, I’m past it now …. kinda sorta! (although I do want to watch the movie tonight.)
Before I end I’ll share a little story with you … Every time we hear Ring of Fire in our house … we laugh!! The Walk the Line movie came out when my children were in middle school … and I tend to get fixated on a soundtrack or a CD. Chase and Brooke had to listen to the Walk the Line soundtrack for so long that they memorized the words ….. not realizing they had done so …until there was an event at the school and the Ring of Fire song came on …. and Chase started singing it… word for word. I wasn’t there … didn’t see it but I guess the kids thought it was funny that he knew the song and knew all the words. (It’s way funnier when Chase tells the story!!!)

Here’s the Walk the Line movie version (I love Johnny’s version but I love this one too!).
See ya!
p.s. I used the picture from Walk the Line for my post …. I figured it was better than a picture that did not relate.
