The next Butterfly Quilt

August 8, 2015 by Angie 2 Comments

I’m happy to say that I actually used my sewing machine today!

I made a deal with myself … and then I cheated.

I decided that if I could get everything done on my to do list  … I would reward myself with an hour of sewing.

Turns out I decided to do it in reverse … and now I’m ready for a nap.

All I can say is ,,,,,,thank goodness it’s Saturday!! Technically I only work Monday through Friday (you and I both know I find myself working on weekends …but it’s very sporadic).

This is another Butterfly Quilt and it has my sister Kim’s name on it.  It’s been hanging on my design wall since April?  That reminds me I have a few quilts I need to pick up from my longarm quilter.

I’m fixin to make myself a cup of coffee and take a nap (hope I wake up energized to film four videos)!!

See ya!

p.s.  The injections they gave me for pain … are no longer working.   I’m counting the days until I see them again (in 2 weeks)!  Also I waited to sew until after my pain returned … I wanted to make sure it wasn’t aggravating the issue by using my sewing machine.  whew!!!

I am so sorry that your pain has returned, praying that a solution is found soon. On the other hand this is going to be a beautiful quilt!

what a beautiful quilt this is going to be, Angie! Kim will be thrilled.
Can you share the pattern? 🙂 Did you cut the butterflies or are they
precut. I love quilts and enjoy trying to make them.
