The Double Slice Layer Cake Quilt Along  Video 9 & 10 is ready.

Video 9

  • I place my fabric on a Design Wall to make sure it will look good.
  • Start with row one and pin blocks together and sew.
  • I pin and sew one row at a time.

Video 10

  • Snip extra threads.
  • Check for holes.
  • Measure for Backing and Binding Fabric using the Quilters Little Helper app by Robert Kaufman.
  • Iron and use Starch.
  • Take to long arm quilter (with backing fabric and binding fabric).

Thank you so much, Angie, for putting this quilt along together. Your quilt is lovely and I can’t wait to see it again when you get it back from the longarmer. 🙂
