Lulu Roses Quilt Along Video #4
- Square up your blocks (or rectangles) using a ruler with a rotary cutter. Be careful and make sure you cut only what’s necessary.
- Pin and sew vertical rows. Start with Row 1, make sure the white rectangle is at the bottom, place right sides together and sew a 1/4″ seam. Your last block will be the square that does not have sashing. Repeat on all seven rows.
- Pin sashing to each row and sew at 1/4 seam. Repeat on all rows.
- Trim the extra fabric using a rotary cutter and ruler.
We’ll wrap up the Lulu Roses Quilt Along tomorrow with Video #5.

Angie on the original quilt the fabrics were mixed up instead of one in a row. Is it all right to do that with this one. I love the fabric.
Angie says
Hi Dolores, You can mix them up or keep them all the same (in each row). By using all the fabrics in one row … it eliminates having to use a Design Wall.
Dolores North says
Okay thank you.
