Lulu Roses Quilt Along Video #4

  1.  Square up your blocks (or rectangles) using a ruler with a rotary cutter.  Be careful and make sure you cut only what’s necessary.
  2. Pin and sew vertical rows.  Start with Row 1, make sure the white rectangle is at the bottom, place right sides together and sew a 1/4″ seam.  Your last block will be the square that does not have sashing.   Repeat on all seven rows.
  3. Pin sashing to each row and sew at 1/4 seam.  Repeat on all rows.
  4. Trim the extra fabric using a rotary cutter and ruler.

We’ll wrap up the Lulu Roses Quilt Along tomorrow with Video #5.

Angie on the original quilt the fabrics were mixed up instead of one in a row. Is it all right to do that with this one. I love the fabric.

Hi Dolores, You can mix them up or keep them all the same (in each row). By using all the fabrics in one row … it eliminates having to use a Design Wall.
